* Must know advice for new coaches: Just take it one day at a time. It can be overwhelming. Make sure you can separate the cheerleaders and parents. You will need to deal with each group at different times for different reasons. Try not to carry anything into practice with you.
* How do you motivate your team: I tell my team to relax and release. If things get tough or we are having a difficult practice I try to keep it calm. Sometimes we need to have a calming session.
* Favorite thing to coach: Stunting. I love everything about it. I like to show them everything they need to know from start to finish. It’s great after a good practice to see the end result.
* What cheer information do you go looking for on the internet most often: Stunt info! I like to see whats new and what’s trending. We have to follow rules so I’m always looking for creative new things.
